The Advanced/Healthcare CPR Course covers everything in the Basic CPR course (choking and single person CPR) and adds two person Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, use of Bag Valve Masks, suction devices, and use of emergency Oxygen for CPR.  Basic CPR is NOT a prerequirement for enrollment in the Advanced/Healthcare CPR course.

The Advanced/Healthcare CPR, First Aid, and AED (automatic External Defibrilator) certifications through AEHS (American Environmental Health & Safety) is good for two years.  This is not a scuba specific course and is good for non-divers and divers alike. This course (with First Aid) will satisfy the first aid/CPR requirement for the SDI Rescue, SDI Divemaster, SDI Assistant Instructor, SSI Stress and Rescue, and SSI Divecon courses.
