During the Open Water Diver course, you learned to use the tables. Tables are great as long as you are doing a square profile. Unfortunately, most dives are actually multi-level dives.  On tables, you don’t get credit for time spent at depths shallower than the deepest. A computer tracks your depths and adjusts accordingly. With a computer, you get more bottom time, don’t have to remember to set a watch to track time, and don’t have to work the tables to find out how long you can stay down on a dive.  In addition, computers offer other safety features such as ascent rate monitors and nitrogen loading graphs. Some even tell how many minutes of air you have left.  This course will teach you what to look for in a dive computer and how to use them.
